The Gibson Area Music Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the musical heritage and artistic opportunities in Gibson City, Illinois and the surrounding communities. Established to celebrate and support music in all its forms, we work year-round to make high-quality musical experiences for local residents.
We proudly sponsor concerts that bring live music to our community, ranging from community sing-alongs and festivals to professional performances. In addition, we subsidize private music lessons for students of all ages, helping to remove financial barriers so that every aspiring musician can develop their talents. We also provide direct financial support to students attending summer music camps and workshops, empowering the next generation of performers and music educators.
Beyond individual students, the Foundation has contributed thousands of dollars toward school music programs — funding new instruments, uniforms, and other essential resources that keep school bands, choirs, and orchestras thriving.
